Big news for our Lakeville, MN location: Building #1 is officially complete.
This is the first of four buildings planned for the Lakeville development at 7176 222nd St W, and it’s a milestone we’ve been working toward since construction kicked off earlier this year. With Building #1 finished, framing has already started on Building #2, with two more to follow as we work toward our goal of completing the full 98-unit development by the end of 2026.
A New Look for Midwest FlexSpace
Building #1 isn’t just our first completed building in Lakeville; it’s also a bit of an evolution for us. Compared to our other three locations, this building brings a noticeably cleaner, more modern look, starting with a darker exterior color palette and the addition of stone accents that give the building a higher-end, more polished feel.
We also added floor drains inside each unit, a new feature that wasn’t part of our previous buildings.
A few things drove these changes:
- City requirements — Lakeville’s building standards called for some of these updates.
- A more modern feel — the darker tones and stone give the building a sharper, more contemporary look.
- A higher-end finish — from the exterior details to the floor drains, we wanted this building to feel like a step up.
